More About This Microlot Coffee:

This coffee comes from the Tarrazu region in the province of San José on the West coast of Costa Rica. This region regroups many communities who have been cultivating and producing coffee for generations.This specific microlot comes from San Andres community.

This coffee is a blend of two varieties: caturra and catuaí. The coffee is exclusively picked by hand which guarantees that only the ripe, red coffee cherries are used for production. The water used during the wash is recycled and the de-pulping is used as a natural fertilizer.

Costa Rica Tarrazu obtains its international recognition from its impressive aromatic acidity. The taste is very mild and a result of the manual roasting process. A harmonic body completes this coffee’s aromatic profile with its exemplary character. “Costa Rica Tarrazu” is among the world’s best coffees.

Its unique climatic conditions was awarded the 'SHB' label: Strictly Hard Bean.
