Who is behind the Saeco brand?

The Saeco brand is an Italian company, specialized in coffee machines. The range extends to manual machines, automatic grinder espresso, but also to the professional with coffee machines suitable for large consumption. The brand was born in 1981 in Gagga Montano, a small Italian town, and was founded by Sergio Zapella and Arthur Schmed.

Their ambition was to allow everyone to prepare excellent Italian coffee at home. It was in 1985 that the "bean-to-cup" technology was born (from the bean to the cup) for the launch of the very first super automatic coffee machine.

L' Aqua clean has advanced technology, by changing it regularly (approximately every 2 months) you will only have to descale your Saeco coffee machine every 5000 cups (i.e. approximately 2 years).

Your Saeco automatic coffee machine has a pre-recorded program for descaling and warns you as soon as it is necessary to carry out this maintenance. Also, the coffee group is removable, I invite you to remove it once a week to clean it under lukewarm water, let it dry and put it back in the machine. This cleaning makes it possible to remove the oils and coffee grounds which are deposited with each extraction. Finally, the cup rest part is removable and can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
