Brewing with the Birch Cafetière

Remove the plunger from the beaker to add the ground coffee; allow 1 tsp of coffee per cup (about 7.5g). Remember to select a coffee with a grind suitable for plunger coffee makers, or to set your coffee grinder to a coarse grind (the grind should resemble coarse salt).
Pour hot (not boiling) water into the cafetiere (about 90 ml per cup) and stir before replacing the plunger at the top of the cafetiere to store the heat.
Leave the coffee to brew for about 4 minutes.
Squeeze the plunger slowly and evenly and enjoy your coffee!
