The Italian roaster Mokador has combined Arabica and Robusta beans from Central and South America, specifically from Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala and Costa Rica. The result is an Italian coffee bean that is both intense and rich in flavour.

In the cup, the coffee has a persistent crema with a comforting hazelnut colour. On the nose, the aromas blend together and allow us to anticipate the notes to come.

When tasting this coffee, one finds body and a marked intensity with floral, fruity and gourmet notes (toast and cocoa), more perceptible at the end of the mouth.

Certified by the Italian Espresso Institute, this coffee is ideal as an espresso or ristretto at any time of the day.

The Mokador Castellari story began in 1967 when Domenico Castellari decided to strike out on his own. He opened his first shop and founded theMokador Torrefazione (the Mokador coffee-roasting factory) in Faenza (a region renowned for its culinary tradition). This cultural influence played a big part in the founder's approach to business, with Castellari coffee's strategy focusing on quality rather than quantity.
