The Pyxis is Acaia's most compact and most accurate scale in their catalog to date. This top-of-the-line espresso scale will easily fit under the spouts of any espresso machine.

The Pyxis can respond to a weight as light as a feather--starting from 0.01 grams--and measure up to 500 grams. It is the highest-resolution weighing scale in Acaia’s catalog.

At 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm, the Pyxis is one of the smallest precision scales in the world. It weighs only 70 grams, which is very convenient for travel. 

The Pyxis is designed to be compact and resistant to water.

ACAIA Pyxis Three Weighing Modes

The Pyxis comes with three built-in weighing modes: weighing mode, dual display mode, and shot clock mode.

Mode 1 – Weighing mode: the scale only displays the weight in grams or ounces.

Mode 2 – Dual display mode: The scale displays the time on the left and the weight on the right.

Mode 3 – Auto start mode: designed for the barista who wants to measure the extraction time from the first drops of espresso. When a stable weight is detected, the scale automatically calculates the tare. Once the scale detects the coffee in the cup, the timer starts. The timer stops when the espresso flow is interrupted.

Mobile App Compatible

The Pyxis scale is compatible with the ACAIA application via the Bluetooth connection, which also allows for occasional updates.
