Dezcal™ is an Effective Descaler and Remover

These sachets of Dezcal descaler from Urnex will enable you to eliminate all the limescale deposits that build up in the water circuits of your appliances. The powder dissolves quickly in lukewarm water and acts in a non-aggressive way thanks to the power of its concentration.

This is a step that should not be neglected in order to extend the life of your espresso machine, guarantee its proper functioning and offer you a better quality coffee.

It removes dirt quickly and effectively from boilers and heating elements. It can also be used to maintain taps, spray heads and milk systems. It should not be used with aluminium cafetieres.

Instructions for a basic descaling cycle of your espresso cafetiere:

Use one dose (28g) per litre of water.
Start the machine and begin a percolation cycle.
Repeat 5 or 6 cycles with clean water.

Instructions for cleaning parts:

Add one dose (58g) of powder to 500ml of hot water.
Stir to dissolve.
Immerse the parts in the solution and leave to stand for a maximum of 30 minutes.
Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water.
